“The Lady Buggies” by Yarrow Mazzetti are a delightful fusion of art, design, and community engagement, brought to life as a fleet of 15 whimsical art cars. Mazzetti, a visionary artist known for creating immersive experiences, designed “The Lady Buggies” to democratize the art car experience, bringing it from exclusive settings into the public realm and inviting everyone to share in the joy.
These buggies, built on electric golf carts and transformed with fiberglass shells into oversized ladybugs, feature LED lights, speakers, and blinking eyelashes. Far more than just vehicles, they are mobile artworks that engage the public and foster spontaneous interaction, creating a shared sense of delight.
Having made their mark at major festivals like Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival, “The Lady Buggies” transcend traditional fine art boundaries, offering a participatory experience that celebrates creativity, community, and the simple joy of human connection.
